Core & Cardio class is a fun filled mix of non stop high intensity full body movements using light dumbbells, kettlebells, and medicine balls mixed with short runs and athletic drills. The emphasis is placed on constant movement from one exercise to the next. You will perform a variety of crunches along with many other abdominal exercises. Emphasis is placed on overall conditioning.

Who should do this workout?
This is a workout for those at all fitness levels and athletic backgrounds. Regardless of your fitness level you are encouraged to participate. This is the perfect cardio workout to do when you are sore from your strength workouts. This is a great workout for anyone interested in High Intensity Interval Training.
What to know before you do this workout?
There are a number of ways you can incorporate this workout into your training routine to be specific to your goals. This workout is made of exercises to target the total body with a focus on the abdominal muscles. The cardio is a mix of HIIT conditioning and short runs. Low-impact cardio options are available.
What to bring to your workout?
Most of our classes don’t require that you bring more than the following:
- Wear comfortable workout clothing.
- Wear athletic shoes.
- Bring plenty of water or be prepared to purchase water, you will need it. (drinking 12-16 ounces of water 60 minutes before class)
- Have fuel available during or after the workout to keep blood sugar and energy levels from dropping.
- Positive attitude; Be willing to be pushed beyond your comfort zone and trust your instructors, but don’t over do it your first week.
