Grinder Gym is committed to programming and coaching for all strength sports. Armlifting is one of those sports we are proud to bring our community.

At Grinder Gym we offer a strong atmosphere, the support and the specialized equipment you need to take your performance to the next level.

We hold competitions and offer programming and coaching in Armlifting. 

What is Armlifting?

Armlifting is the name given by Russian athletes, for a grip contest that originally began with simply the Rolling Thunder, and has since come to include many other grip sport staples.

In Armlifting the weight is lifting by one or both hands with a predominant dependence on grip strength. Armlifting demands a great deal of grip strength.

Today Armlifting competitions are happening all over the world and include multiple events with multiple classes. Armlifting has a professional league and each nation posts their own leader boards. Most athletes that participate in Armliftling are crossing over into the sport from strength sports such as Strongman and combat strength sports such as Armwrestling.

At Grinder Gym we provide our members an opportunity to learn and compete in Armlifting. At Grinder Gym we have Armlifting events to get you trained and ready to compete. These events give athletes an opportunity to get hands on experience being coached by top grip sport and armlifting athletetes.

To be competitive at Armlifting you need to spend a great deal of time doing a variety of exercises that train the hand, wrist, and forearm muscles. Every grip exercise potentially has a place in your training, but to get the most from your training in Armlifting, you must master the skill and techniques for each of the competition implements.
