Understanding the Difference
At Grinder Gym, we separate workshops and seminars based on depth, time commitment, and application.
Workshops (2–4 Hours)
Workshops are focused, hands-on learning sessions built around a specific skill, topic, or training objective.
They are:
- 2 to 4 hours in length
- Practical and application-driven
- Built around skill development and execution
- Designed to give you tools you can use immediately
Workshops are ideal for:
- Learning a lift or training method
- Fixing technique issues
- Understanding a specific concept (programming, nutrition, recovery, etc.)
- Getting unstuck and gaining direction
You come in, learn, apply, and leave better equipped to train.
Seminars (Half Day, Full Day, or Multi-Day)
Seminars go deeper.
These are immersive educational experiences designed to develop full understanding, systems, and long-term application.
Seminars may be:
- Half-day or full-day intensives
- Multi-day events
- Structured across multiple weekends
They often include:
- Lecture + application
- Case studies and breakdowns
- Coaching frameworks
- Group discussion
- Practical implementation blocks
Seminars are ideal for:
- Coaches and trainers
- Competitive athletes
- Individuals committed to major change
- Anyone wanting a deeper understanding of training, nutrition, and performance systems
You don’t just learn a skill — you learn how to think, plan, and apply at a higher level.
Why We Separate Them
Not every topic requires a full-day deep dive.
Not every skill can be learned in two hours.
By separating workshops and seminars, we can:
- Respect people’s time
- Match depth to the subject
- Maintain coaching quality
- Deliver real results instead of information overload
Both serve a purpose.
Both are built around an application.
Both exist to help you improve.
