Open Gym is available to all members to train as they wish, follow a Grinder training program, work with a personal trainer, complete a missed group workout, squeezing in an extra session, or spend time working on a particular area you’d like to improve.
When is Open Gym?
Open Gym is available all hours the gym is open. The class room is the only area not available during class hours.
Do I have to sign up for Open Gym ahead of time?
We do prefer you signing up ahead of time, but if you are unable to do so we don’t mind you simply arriving for your workout.
Do I have to come up with my own workout?
The type of membership and services you have available with your membership will determine what is offered. That having been said, you are always welcome to use the time, space, and equipment to do your own workout, work on a specific skill or movement, etc.
What if I’m not familiar with the workout, an exercise, etc.?
Open gym is not routinely staffed by one of our coaches, but if a coach is available to explain the workout they may take the time. It is important to understand that the coaches are not always available outside of the classes unless you purchase a training session with them.
How can I get the most out of Open Gym?
The most important part is…just show up! In addition to making a plan to be in the gym we can help you create a plan for the time when you’re here. Our coaches can offer you personal training services to complement the classes or create you your own program.
Should I use Open Gym along with my group classes?
While we are here to help you achieve your goals through our classes, Open Gym is a flexible supplement to those days when your schedule just doesn’t allow you to make it in for a class. Or, if you’re looking to give a little extra attention to a skill, weakness, or movement in particular, you’ll find Open Gym is the perfect chance to practice.
