What is personal training at Grinder Gym?

Personal training is one-on-one coaching built around you. A dedicated coach assesses where you are, writes your program, and runs your sessions in person, adjusting as you progress.

Who is personal training for?

Anyone who wants faster progress and real accountability. We coach complete beginners learning the basics and experienced lifters chasing a specific goal.

What happens in a personal training session?

Your coach takes you through a structured session: a proper warmup, your main lifts with hands-on cueing, accessory work, and a quick review of what to build on next time.

Do I need experience to start?

No. Many of our clients start with little or no training background. Your coach meets you at your level and builds from there.

How often should I train with a coach?

It depends on your goals and schedule. Most clients train one to three sessions a week. Some use personal training to learn the lifts and build a plan, then train on their own.

How is personal training different from group classes?

Personal training is fully individual. The programming, the coaching, and the attention are all built for you, not shared across a group.

Can personal training help me prepare for a competition?

Yes. Our coaches prepare athletes for powerlifting, strongman, and the other strength sports we run, from your first meet to the platform.

What should I bring to my first session?

Comfortable training clothes, solid shoes, and a water bottle. Come ready to move and your coach handles the rest.

How do I get started?

Reach out through our contact page or stop by the gym. We will set up a consultation, talk through your goals, and book your first session.
