Exploring the concept of “belief” as it relates to achieving goals.
Question #3 in this Exploration:
3. Have you ever experienced a time when your belief in a goal significantly influenced your commitment to it?
Countless times. Belief in your goal serves as a driving force, motivating and sustaining your dedication to the necessary actions in your plan. If you believe the plan will work, you will work the plan. If you doubt the plan, you’ll find an excuse for deviating from it. The same can be said if you believe in the plan but doubt your ability to execute it; you will likely fail to execute it.
Confidence in both the plan and one’s capability to carry it out significantly impacts the likelihood of achieving the desired outcome.
