Lunging Quad Stretch

Description:

The lunging quad stretch lengthens the hip flexor and quad of the trailing leg in a deep lunge.

Muscles Stretched:

  • Quadriceps
  • Hip Flexors

How To Perform:

  1. Step into a deep lunge with one foot forward and the back knee on the floor.
  2. Press your hips forward toward the front foot.
  3. For more stretch, reach back and pull the rear foot toward your glute.
  4. Feel the stretch through the front of the rear thigh and hip.
  5. Switch sides and repeat.
