Standing Quad Stretch with Wall

Description:

This standing quad stretch uses a wall to support balance while stretching the front of the thigh.

Muscles Stretched:

  • Quadriceps
  • Hip Flexors

How To Perform:

  1. Stand facing away from a wall and place one foot back against it, shin up.
  2. Bend the supporting leg slightly and keep your hips forward.
  3. Feel the stretch deepen in the front of the raised thigh.
  4. Hold the position steady.
  5. Switch sides and repeat.
