The Lunge Challenge is designed to test lower body strength, endurance, and balance. This challenge measures how many proper lunges you can complete within a set time while maintaining correct form.
Challenge Details
- Event Type: Online and in-person challenge
- Objective: Perform the maximum number of lunges within the given time frame.
Rules & Guidelines
Starting Position:
- Stand upright with feet hip-width apart.
- Keep your chest up and engage your core.
Lunge Execution:
- Step forward with one leg, lowering your back knee until it nearly touches the ground.
- Ensure your front knee stays aligned with your ankle and does not extend past your toes.
- Push off the front leg and return to the starting position.
- Alternate legs for each repetition.
Counting Reps:
- Only lunges completed with proper depth and control count.
- Any incomplete or improper lunges will not be counted.
Measurement:
- Total reps completed with proper form within the set time.
Video Submission Requirements (For Online Entries):
- Ensure the entire body is visible in the recording.
- Clearly announce your name before starting.
- Submissions must be unedited and recorded in real-time.
