The Body Weight Squat Challenge is designed to test muscular endurance, lower-body strength, and mental toughness. This challenge measures how many proper bodyweight squats you can perform in 2 minutes while maintaining correct form.
Challenge Details
- Event Type: Online and in-person challenge
- Objective: Perform the maximum number of bodyweight squats in 2 minutes.
Rules & Guidelines
- Starting Position:
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Keep your chest up and core engaged.
- Squat Execution:
- Lower your body until your thighs are at least parallel to the ground.
- Keep your heels planted and your back straight.
- Fully extend your legs at the top of each rep.
- No bouncing, jumping, or using momentum.
- Counting Reps:
- Only squats that reach proper depth and full extension count.
- Any incomplete reps will not be counted.
- Measurement:
- Total reps completed in 2 minutes.
- Video Submission Requirements (For Online Entries):
- Ensure the entire body is visible in the recording.
- Clearly announce your name before starting.
- Submissions must be unedited and recorded in real-time.
