The strict curl is a barbell or EZ-bar bicep curl that’s performed with your head, back, and glutes against a wall, so that it’s impossible to use momentum to lift the weight. If at any point during the curl your head, back, or glutes come off the wall the lift is no longer considered a good lift. At Grinder Gym we follow the strictest of Strict Curl Rules for our events. This is why we use the International Strict Curl Association Rules.
