If you are looking for polished studio lighting and staged fitness décor, this is not it.
If you are looking for authentic strength culture, heavy iron, specialty equipment, and a facility with a real training atmosphere that best aligns with your brand, then you’re in the right place.
A Proven Production Environment

The Facility
Located in San Diego, California, Grinder Gym is a strength-focused training environment featuring:
- Strongman implements and competition equipment
- Specialty barbells and calibrated plates
- Powerlifting platforms and competition racks
- Circus dumbbells, yokes, stones, sandbags, and event equipment
- Industrial strength aesthetic
- High ceilings and open training floor
- A large fenced outdoor training yard with strongman equipment throughout
- A serious, authentic strength atmosphere
This is not a staged gym.
This is where athletes train.
Production Access
Commercial filming is available through full facility buyout or approved off-peak scheduling.
This ensures:
- Controlled environment for your team
- Defined access during the production window
- Minimal disruption to members
- Creative flexibility within agreed boundaries
All bookings require:
- Signed commercial filming agreement
- Certificate of Insurance naming Grinder Gym as additionally insured
- Deposit to secure date
- Adherence to equipment handling and facility guidelines
We do not offer casual influencer access for commercial usage.
We work with organized, professional production teams.
Brand Alignment
Grinder Gym is built on strength culture, discipline, and performance.
We reserve the right to approve all commercial filming requests to ensure alignment with our facility standards and brand values.
If your campaign reflects hard work, authenticity, and real performance, we are open to the conversation.
If it does not, we will respectfully decline.
Scheduling
Commercial productions are most often approved for:
- Off-peak hours or after operational hours
- Sundays
- Or through agreed full-day buyouts
Two weeks’ advance notice is preferred.
Earlier inquiries allow for better coordination and scheduling flexibility.
