Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Property Policy

Grinder Gym is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for training. However, members, guests, and contractors are ultimately responsible for their own belongings while on Grinder Gym property. This policy outlines our stance and procedures regarding lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

Personal Responsibility

All individuals using the facility are strongly encouraged to:

  • Secure valuables in lockers with personal locks
  • Avoid bringing unnecessary or high-value items to the gym
  • Keep belongings within view and within designated storage areas when not in use
  • Take all items with them when leaving the gym, including after classes, events, or 24-hour access workouts

Grinder Gym is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

Locker Use

  • Lockers are available for short-term, daily use only unless otherwise arranged through membership terms.
  • Unsecured or unattended items left in common areas are left at the owner’s risk.
  • Items left overnight may be removed and placed in the lost and found or discarded at management’s discretion.

Lost and Found

  • Items found on the premises will be held in the designated lost and found area at the front desk.
  • Grinder Gym holds items for a maximum of 14 days. Unclaimed items may be discarded or donated without notice.
  • High-value items (e.g., electronics, wallets, keys) may be kept at the front desk and require ID for retrieval.

Grinder Gym is not responsible for the condition or security of lost items after they are placed in the lost and found.

Reporting Theft or Damage

If you believe your property has been stolen or damaged:

  • Immediately notify a staff member or email info@grindergym.com
  • Provide the date, time, and a detailed description of the item(s)
  • If theft is suspected, a report may be filed with local law enforcement

We will cooperate fully with police investigations but cannot guarantee recovery or restitution of missing items.

Property Damage Caused by Members

Any intentional or negligent damage to gym property or another member’s belongings may result in:

  • Suspension or termination of membership
  • Liability for the cost of repairs or replacement
  • Legal action if warranted

Gym Equipment Disclaimer

While Grinder Gym makes every effort to maintain all equipment in working order, users assume responsibility for damage to their own personal items that occur as a result of equipment misuse or failure (e.g., dropping phones, damaging headphones, etc.).
