  • Posterior aspect of the sacrum
  • Spinous processes of lumbar and lower thoracic vertebrae

  • Iliocostalis: Angles of the ribs and cervical transverse processes
  • Longissimus: Transverse processes of thoracic and cervical vertebrae, mastoid process of the temporal bone
  • Spinalis: Spinous processes of upper thoracic and cervical vertebrae
