The Static Monsters for 2017 is now part of a worldwide network of competitions all happening on the same weekend.
This year the San Diego event will be October 29th and kick off at 12:00 pm at Grinder Gym, 1013 Morena Blvd. San Diego, CA 92110. Food trucks will be in attendance, prizes from multiple sponsors and of course the chance to compete against the rest of the world!
What is Static Monsters?
The Static Monsters is a strongman Push/Pull event with a Max Log and Max Axle Deadlift. These are iconic strength sports events and well known and practiced among strongman athletes. These events are also some of the best events for other strength athletes to pick up in a short time so they can give strongman a go. This is an unsanctioned and does not require any federation membership to compete. Your scores will be submitted to a global scoreboard to see how you stack up against the rest of the static monsters in the world.

Static Monsters World Championships Qualifier
Competing in Static Monsters events on the weekend of October 28 and 29 is the only way to qualify for the Static Monsters World Championships. The World Championships are the only multi class World Log and Deadlift championship and will be held on the Gold Coast on May 20th 2018.
