The 10K Run Challenge is designed to test endurance, speed, and mental resilience. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just getting started, this challenge pushes you to complete a 10K (6.2 miles) as quickly as possible while maintaining proper pacing and technique.
Challenge Details
- Event Type: Online and in-person challenge
- Objective: Complete a 10K (6.2 miles) run in the shortest possible time.
Rules & Guidelines
Starting Position:
- Participants must begin from a designated starting point.
- A GPS watch or running app must be used to track distance and time.
Run Execution:
- The total distance covered must be exactly 10 kilometers (6.2 miles).
- Participants may run on a treadmill, track, road, or trail, but the route must be measured accurately.
- Pausing or stopping the timer mid-run will result in disqualification.
Measurement:
- Time must be tracked using a GPS-based running app or smartwatch (Strava, Garmin, Nike Run Club, etc.).
- Screenshots of the completed run, including time and distance, must be submitted for verification.
Video Submission Requirements (For Online Entries):
- Ensure the entire run is properly tracked on a verifiable running app.
- Submit a screenshot of your run summary showing distance, time, and pace.
- Optional: Record a short video of yourself at the start and finish of your run for added verification. Editing the video is acceptable for this challenge.
