What is spinning?

Spinning is a form of aerobic exercise that uses a Spinning bike. In comparison to other aerobic classes that often demand a lot of concentration

and coordination to master, Spinning is more relaxed and easier to accomplish. Spinning is a great cardio, non-load bearing exercise. That means you get to enjoy the various health benefits, including an improved respiratory system, without the high risk of injury.

I’ve never taken a spin class before, what should I expect?

Every class is different, but remember you can adapt the format to meet your fitness level. The best thing to do to ensure you have an enjoyable

experience is to talk to the instructor upon arriving your first time. That way, they can help you set up your bike, avoiding injury and discomfort. They can also talk to you about what to expect during the class and how to achieve the best results.

What kind of equipment do I need?

A stiff-soled shoe with good ventilation is a must. You should wear form fitting workout clothes like tight pants to minimize friction when paddling.

Avoid wearing heavy fabrics and clothing such as sweatpants and sweatshirts. We also recommend bringing a water bottle and a towel to mop up the sweat.
